ABOUT US

HISTORY

A Faithful Witness Since 1874

Saint Paul’s Reformed Episcopal Church was originally founded at Broad St. & Venango in Philadelphia. Born out of a desire to uphold the authority of Scripture, the historic Anglican way of worship, and the evangelical proclamation of the Gospel, Saint Paul’s quickly became one of the denomination’s most enduring congregations. From its earliest days, the church has been committed to reverent worship, biblical preaching, and a warm community life shaped by prayer, fellowship, and service.

VALUES

Worshiping, Growing, and Witnessing

Saint Paul’s is an evangelistic community, actively engaged in spreading the Gospel message to all around us.  In addition to worship opportunities throughout the week, we gather in a variety of contexts and locations for prayer, study, service, and fellowship.

VISION

A Home for Theological Education

In the fall of 2024, Saint Paul's REC entered a new chapter in its life and ministry when Reformed Episcopal Seminary moved it's operations to available space within our facility.

The relocation brought the denomination’s historic seminary and one of its oldest congregations together on a shared property, creating a unique partnership where worship, scholarship, and ministry are woven together for the building up of Christ’s Church.
